University of Salzburg – Centre for Geoinformatics will organise a meeting of the SPACIT consortium linked with its annual conference in order to maximise the potential for partners to disseminate the outcomes of the proposal and be involved in the training courses for teachers. University of Salzburg – Centre for Geoinformatics will facilitate a training workshop to pilot materials through its conference. Colleagues from University of Salzburg – Centre for Geoinformatics will guide partners in the preparation of e-learning materials.
The 6th Geoinformatics Forum focuses on an international audience that shares an interest in applied Geoinformatics. We wish to attract researchers who design, develop and apply advanced methods and techniques of Geoinformatics to a broad range of application domains.
The GI_Forum welcomes the international GIS community from academia, industry and government to Salzburg. GI_Forum 2012 offers full-fledged, intertwined tracks on GIScience & Technology and Learning with a focus on geovisualization, society and learning, and their inter-relationship.

Oral presentation, discussion and poster sessions will provide a unique stage to facilitate the exchange of experiences among presenters and audience.
